SCIENCE MEETS BIOPHILIA AT RETAIL

Our collaboration with Wild Science Lab saw the launch of a botanical shop-in-shop in the newly built Printemps department store in Doha, Qatar. Prior to this project, Wild Science Lab was an online-only brand, making this their debut into the world of physical retail. Our branding process ensured a full understanding of the brand, its products, and target audience, allowing us to translate the brand in an impactful, educational, and memorable way within a busy multi-branded environment. We crafted a brand palette of premium finishes, ownable biophilic textures, and enlightening brand and ingredient explainers, while maximising the brand’s prized motifs on midfloor units.

CREATING A BRAND-HOME FOR K-BEAUTY IN THE UK

K-Beauty retailer, PURESEOUL, challenged D4R to create an accessible space for skincare enthusiasts and makeup junkies to fall in love with Korean cosmetics. Kickstarting the project we read, researched and explored every aspect of the scope and potential to fully understand the brand and vendor objectives, the customer and the specific and current market sector. Through rounds of strategy and creative, we culminated our works with a retail identity that was both playful and functional, communicating the brand’s Korean steer through colours, form, texture, typography, and a bespoke suite of hand drawn illustrations.

THE FUTURE OF SLEEP RETAIL

We worked with TEMPUR to create a comprehensive set of guidelines, confirming a consistent retail experience across the brand’s global estate. The experience hinged on our adaptation of TEMPUR’s brand world, ensuring the sleep-leader’s execution is on-brand, every time across all retail scenarios. Deliverables include an ownable suite of fixtures, a bespoke texture palette and a considered set of brand and navigation graphics to suit a spectrum of markets; culminating in our 150-page global guideline document.
