SDI adidas Space Race UltraBoost 20 Campaign Launch
Collaborating with the adidas UK and Western Europe Marketing teams, D4R were asked to continue our support in activating the latest Ultraboost running campaign across various retail platforms.
Idea
Working with adidas and the retailer accounts, D4R executed branded space and marketing materials for a fitness event hosted by The Sports Edit, a branded space roll-out across key Sports Direct locations and delivered a POS toolkit to launch the campaign in the St Pauls WIT store.
Briefed to raise awareness and create excitement surrounding the launch of the new Ultraboost 20 shoe, D4R were assigned to undertake the project, not least because we have activated adidasā core branded spaces for previous Ultraboost campaigns with great success.
Insight
Whilst the launch coincided with one of the busier times of year for retailers, it also launched at a time when competition between brands and products is fierce. By highlighting the benefits of Ultraboost 20, we were able to enhance the current adidas branded spaces and drive sales.
Incorporating key Boost technology into the campaign concept to educate the consumer on the benefits of Ultraboost footwear, including Tailored Fibre Placement technique, a TPU midfoot cage and heel clip, signature soft foam and Stretchweb technology, we were able to design a stunning campaign with substance and purpose which would seamlessly build on the previous Ultraboost campaigns we have worked on.
Realisation
Working within the parameters of adidasā Ultra Boost toolkit, featuring the key campaign assets and creative, we designed and implemented educational launch zones and graphic updates throughout the SDI stores.
Adding enhancements to the key creative, this on-brand, multi-faceted marketing activation welcomes SDI shoppers into a space-age with enhanced sporting performance.
