Kicking off the new season in style...

The Blades Superstore at Sheffield United Football Club will be kicking off the new season with a refreshed retail environment design, produced and delivered by Design4Retail.

Having teamed up in partnership with Adidas to commission the renovations, our brief was to create the perfect backdrop to showcase the Adidas branded merchandise and install the concept ahead of their new home shirt launch.

Drawing our inspiration from the design principles and brand signatures of the adidas stadium concept we created a confident and dynamic space, with clean lines, steel structures and wire mesh details.

Several bespoke solutions are designed to highlight product and engage the fans, including iconic oversized lighting that highlights the product and brings energy to the space.

Customer flow and navigation were key considerations, given that at times this store will be teaming with fans on match days, all vying to buy the new kit.

We carefully considered the shop’s design of the till area to ensure it can cope with the crowds – positioning gifts and football club memorabilia to tempt fans as they queue.

Celebrating the launch of the refreshed store design, Blades Superstore held an official opening day, with the Manager Chris Wilder along with Billy Sharp and John Fleck in attendance to welcome delighted fans into the store.
