Holistic wellness: a service for ‘subjective’ agers
The 418-square-meter New York flagship transcends the typical sterile medical environment. Inspired by the human form, the space features a sleek exterior leading into a vibrant welcome lounge. Beige, lime-washed walls and bold design elements create a spa-like atmosphere with a focus on relaxation and delighting the senses through textures, light gradients, and natural materials.
The design playfully integrates both contemporary and traditional elements, reflecting the concept of aging and embracing temporality. Surrealist furniture and a backlit product display contrast with the grandeur of 5.18-meter-tall Corinthian columns, creating a unique and balanced aesthetic.
Modern Age elevates the customer experience by incorporating multi-sensory elements. Fresh floral arrangements with medicinal scents and a calming playlist contribute to a relaxing atmosphere. The space also features a cozy reading nook with a curated selection of wellness books, inviting visitors to further explore their well-being journeys. After their treatments, visitors can utilise the refresh stations. Each station is equipped with an organically shaped mirror and clad in marbled terracotta-toned tiles, providing a space for reflection and post-treatment care.
