Spaceslide brand identity

We were approached by sliding door specialist Spaceslide in 2014 to give their brand an uplift and help to launch their new showrooms. The first port of call was to look at the graphics and brand identity and give it a stronger tone voice and brand personality.

We took inspiration from the homeware market which is increasingly trends led and looked at adding aspirational imagery and get the look and informational type graphics. We wanted navigation within the showroom to be simple and easy and help consumers shop the different product ranges. The overall graphics style was welcoming and friendly and the panels each had a wallpaper effect to add to the overall mood of the showroom. For the colour palette we worked with existing colour pallet adding in softer tones and on trend dark grey.

Lichfield was the first showroom to be completed which had a ‘testimonial wall’ that highlighted various assurance messages and ‘as featured on’ messages which added personality to the environment.

Further to this we produced a set of Retail Guidelines which became the blueprint for the first showroom in Lichfield. D4R provided full turnkey support, working on the conceptual ideas, through manufacture and to the final installation of the site which then launched in February from a bare warehouse to a fully functioning customer friendly space.
