You are taken through the company’s history, brewing process and media through a combination of images, audio, videos and interactive features including being brewed and bottled in an exciting 4D experience.
Interaction is the key to the success of this experience – firstly, on arrival you can download the free additional tour app to your smartphone allowing you to find out more information from audio to videos along the tour route. As well as being informed about the heritage, Heineken also increases your awareness of their Social responsibility and sustainability throughout the company’s history, illustrating its key values enabling the consumer to further connect with the brand.
Following the heritage, you are then taken into the factory itself and are able to take part in different brewing activities as well as discovering how it is made, right through to bottling. This includes the 4D experience of being the beer itself, meaning you are taken on a journey from its raw materials through to consumption.
After bottling where you have the opportunity for personalisation, you are then able to taste the beer, consuming it in a room displaying Heinekens famous adverts leading you to the final stage of the experience – media.
From DJ-ing to holograms to photo booths and not forgetting Heinekens key role in Champions league you are able fully embrace the brand and what they are about. Overall the experiential features the tour uses play on all the senses as well as cool design, social interaction and key values making it an unforgettable experience.
Along with two free drinks and a free glass, the experience is well worth a visit!
