D4R Work With Dr Martens on Retail Identity

We are delighted to have been part of the launch of Dr Martens new retail identity at the new Westfield shopping centre in Stratford and Spitalfields. The 'look and feel' of the new stores embraces Dr. Martens new global retail design concept, showcasing both the brand's A/W-11 footwear range as well as the latest clothing and accessories collection.

D4R worked with the Dr Martens team to design a store concept that references the brand's British manufacturing heritage and features elements such as exposed wooden floors and brick walls, plus leather sofas in Dr. Martens classic 'Oxblood' tone .This is interspersed with modern technology including iPads mounted into leather-bound books that allow customers to browse films such as the Art of Industrial Manufacturing, the brands AW11 First and Forever campaign video staring Agyness Deyn and how to break in Dr Martens footwear. Contemporary wall niches highlight the brand's key seasonal styles and each store houses a special 'Made in England' zone to showcase the product made in their Northamptonshire factory.

We are due to open additional stores in Liverpool and Stockholm in September and October respectively. We are excited to have been part of this launch and work with such an iconic brand.
