Nokia are appealing to the internet masses to provide them with phone concept design ideas.
This way, not only do Nokia get a new phone designed for free, but they also get the chance to have a massive insight into the minds of the people who make them their money.
By receiving lots of different designs from such a wide spectrum of the general public it allows Nokia to research the market and develop phone designs for their customers.
The initiative, titled Design by Community, has been launched on the Official Nokia blog to design their ideal concept phone.
As part of the design you get chance to decide how everything from the display and user interface, the materials used and most importantly, the name of the concept Nokia phone.
Each week the blog will feature a new area of the design concept for you to work on. The whole process will be drawn out over an 8 week period.
At the end of the process, the most popular sketch will then be computer rendered in full 3D to bring the winning design to life with a concept vision.
