Retail design specialists’ Design4Retail have been approached by the Nationwide Building Society to create a display system that can be used within its branch network, beginning with a trial in its Cardiff based flagship branch this month.
The display system enables 3D theatre and props to be effectively used to promote the building society’s core product marketing campaigns. The design has been created so that it can be used in smaller modules to allow it to work across a wide range of branch formats.
Design4Retail designed, built and installed the display and the point-of-sale to go on the display based on campaign material provided by the building society’s marketing team.
The design uses modular metal bases with durable plastic covers in to which different height clear plastic tubes connect. Each tube can be used to hold either layered printed banners or they can be filled with props such as coins for example, to bring each campaign to ‘life’ in a fun and visual way encouraging customer interaction.
The system also enables large format posters to be simply hung from a frame with the display and each tube has the facility to hold sales literature for customers to take away.
Tim Howitt, Director, Design4Retail, comments: “We are pleased to have been asked to design a marketing display system for Nationwide. As the building society’s first flagship branch, it’s already known for its use of innovative in-store marketing solutions and technologies. I’m sure this latest display will provide a highly effective addition to both Cardiff and the branch network in the future.”

snappy little title, LOL
