Cushe®, the independent British lifestyle footwear brand has approached Design4retail to create merchandise display tables to support its sales in outdoor retailer Blacks, beginning with its new concept stores in Kensington and Holborn this month.
Launched in 2005, Cushe (pronounced ‘Cushy’) is now sold in 21 countries worldwide and is available in Jones the Bootmaker, Schuh, Shoon, John Lewis and Blacks in the UK. With deep foundations in footwear design, this innovative brand aims to challenge the boundaries of footwear design, creating head turning footwear and striving for bold cutting edge looks.
Design4Retail were asked to design, build and install merchandise tables that would be appealing to Cushe customers and support sales exclusively in Blacks.
Saliesh Parekh, Business Development Manager, Design4Reatil said: “Our design combines various materials and tactile finishes to create a natural urban look and feel that reflects the Cushe footwear product. The use of large format lifestyle imagery and simple high level signage ensures a clean and uncluttered in-store presentation that is both easy to merchandise and update.”
Martin Dean, Managing Director, Cushe Footwear said: “It’s our quirky twists and attention to detail in design that our customers really appreciate. Design4Retail has effectively met our brief by providing a great display that communicates the innovation and design led personality of our brand while presenting our footwear to best effect.
The display tables will be featured initially in two new interior concept Blacks stores and there are plans to produce complementary point-of-sale merchandise in the future.
