Thierry Mugler’s Alien Has Landed At Selfridges.Tuesday, 05 February 2008

Retail design specialists’ Design4Retail have created unique promotional displays for the launch of Thierry Mugler’s Alien Eau Luminescente, exclusively at Selfridges Oxford Street store.

Design4Retail worked with the Thierry Mugler team to build and install a window display for the launch of this latest spring fragrance from Clarins. The display showcases a giant replica fragrance bottle, recreated by hand at 1:10 scale, set within a subtly textured paper ‘crater’ to reflect the character of this light, fresh, yet typically complex layered fragrance. Eye catching lights pulsate through the layered display to ensure the attention of passers by is retained 24/7.

The window display was specially created to support the brand launch and effectively communicate the qualities of a fragrance that is both original and extraordinary. Selfridges own brief however, was to consider working within the store’s in-house seasonal theme using paper throughout the displays.

Design4Retail were also asked to build and install an in-store promotional area based on the same concept within the store’s main fragrance and beauty hall.
